This one of a kind large double page original antique map of Kentucky and Tennessee comes from Johnson's New Illustrated Family Atlas of the World. Published by Johnson and Ward No. 113 Fulton Street New York in 1863. The Family Atlas was first published by Johnson in 1860 and continued until 1870. Most of the maps were based on Colton's earlier maps as Johnson, in partnership with others, acquired Colton's rights around 1859 - ref. Rumsey. Please check the legend for this maps condition.
