This one of a kind original antique map of Cincinnati comes from S.A. Mitchell New General Atlas published at No. 31 South Sixth St. Philadelphia in 1864. Mitchell, Sr. had acquired the rights to the Universal Atlas in 1845 from H. Tanner who first published it in 1836. Subsequently Mitchell Sr. sold most of his copyrights to Desilver by 1857. Mitchell Jr. reacquired the copyrights from Desilver in 1860 and published editions into the 1880's. Please check the legend for this maps condition. This authentic vintage map of Cincinnati has a blank verso or back side and beautiful coloring on sturdy paper.
