This original antique map of the Asian Continent comes from Mitchell's New Universal Atlas. This atlas was published by Thomas Cowperthwait in 1853 at 253 Market St. Philadelphia. Cowperthwait acquired the rights to the New Universal Atlas in 1850 from Mitchell and continued annual updates until 1855. This authentic vintage map of the Asian Continent is printed on one side only with a blank reverse side and beautiful hand coloring. This one of a kind old map of the Asian Continent would make a fine addition to any collection.
