This original antique map of Connecticut comes from Mitchell's New Universal Atlas. This atlas was published by Thomas Cowperthwait in 1853 at 253 Market St. Philadelphia. Cowperthwait acquired the rights to the New Universal Atlas in 1850 from Mitchell and continued annual updates until 1855. This authentic vintage map of Connecticut is printed on one side only with a blank reverse side and beautiful hand coloring. This one of a kind old map of Connecticut would make a fine addition to any collection.
