This one of a kind original antique map of Maryland and Delaware comes from Johnson's New Illustrated Family Atlas of the World. Published by Johnson and Ward No. 133 Nassau Street New York in 1864. The Family Atlas was first published by Johnson in 1860 and continued until 1870. Most of the maps were based on Colton's earlier maps as Johnson, in partnership with others, acquired Colton's rights around 1859 - ref. Rumsey. Please check the legend for this maps condition. This authentic vintage map of Maryland and Delaware has a blank verso or back side and beautiful coloring including the famous Johnson bordering. This historic old Maryland and Delaware map is truly a fine example printed near the end of the American Civil War.
