This genuine original antique map of the New Mexico and Utah Territories comes from Colton's Atlas of the World Volume I of 1855. This is the first edition of Colton's famous World Atlases. Published in New York, this volume contains maps of the Americas. The second volume was published the following year in 1856. This authentic vintage map has a blank verso or back side and beautiful coloring on sturdy paper. This old map is truly a fine piece of history just prior to the American Civil War. This antique map would make a nice addition to any collection in home, office or public area.
