This original vintage antique large double page map measures approximately 28" X 17" ( 71cm X 43cm) and comes from Colby's Atlas of the State of Maine---Published by Colby and Stuart Houlton, Maine 5th Edition 1884. This map is in good condition but does have a 1 inch tear in the centerfold and is printed with a separate map on each side. A handsome hand colored atlas detailing the many counties, cities and towns in Maine at that time. This historical old map is a fine item for display, gift or collection.
