This original antique map measures approximately 19" X 13" ( 48cm X 33cm) and comes from Delamarche's Atlas de la Geographie Ancienne, du Moyen Age et Moderne. This map is in very good condition and has one centerfold as issued and a blank verso (reverse side). The atlas was engraved in Paris Rue du Jardinet, No. 12 in 1835. Felix Delamarche was they famous French cartographer that succeeded Robert De vaugondy in the French Courts. A handsome hand colored atlas detailing the many countries and kingdoms of the time and also the ancient world as they knew it. This historical old map is a fine item for display, gift or collection.
