This original antique map measures approximately 15.5" X 11" (39 cm X 28 cm) and comes from the Atlas De Toutes Les parties Connues Du Globe Terrestre --- of 1780 with maps by Riggobert Bonne. This map is in very good condition and has multiple folds as issued with a blank verso (reverse side). This atlas was designed to accompany Guillaume Thomas Raynal?s Histoire Philosophique & Politique des Etablissemens & du Commerce des Europeans dans les deux Indes. This was a multi-volume approach to the study of geography and industry of the time. The volumes were published by Pellet in Geneva 1780. A handsome hand colored atlas detailing the many countries and kingdoms of the time. Old and vintage maps also make great gifts.
